ELCS serves as a core partner with Management Sciences for Health (MSH) in USAID funded NHTAP/ AFIAT project. ELCS works with other consortium partners to provide tailored technical support in improving access to and quality of healthcare services besides strengthening the stewardship role of the Ministry of Public Health. ELCS is specifically charged with establishing project links with local communities through social mobilization and engagement activities. ELCS team also support the consortium in devising technical assistance plans for the MOPH at Kabul and provincial levels, besides supporting the project in design and implementation of several research and survey projects. Part of ELCS work involves supporting other consortium partners in demand generation, capacity building, RMNCH and social mobilization efforts.
