ELCS partnered with LSTM to undertake implementation of the project Quality Improvement of Integrated HIV, TB and Malaria Services in Antenatal and Postnatal Care Facilities in Afghanistan.

The project involved implementation of a baseline health facility assessment followed by design of a three-year operational research project involving design of small scale interventions to improve quality of the services for the three diseases, HIV, TB and Malaria in ANC and PNC clinics.

ELCS served as an implementing partner, charged with supporting design and implementation of the baseline health assessment, organization of three intensive courses on M and E, Quality Improvement and ANC/PNC interventions.
